Business Development Executive

Potato Play is a Singapore-based venture-funded mobile game publisher, taking games created by Asian developers to global success, through data-driven publishing. Game developers appreciate our transparent, collaborative and predictable process, and value our high rate of success.
We are looking for a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident for a partner-facing role in Shenzhen (or other major cities in China). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing game developer partners. You will be at the frontline of our partner lifecycle and will be responsible for attracting, negotiating with, onboarding, and managing partners. If you have strong consultative sales and negotiation skills but are also able to handle daily operational work, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate, qualify and propose publishing deals through a consultative approach
Build relationships with strategically important partners in order to ensure their ongoing success
Assist in establishing team goals and work with all stakeholders on strategies for executing, measuring progress and reporting results
Work closely with local & global stakeholders to share, establish and improve best practices and procedures with game partners.
Minimum Requirements
1+ years experiences in gaming industry and/or business operations in the technology/internet space
Ability to identify trends/patterns and study market/business opportunities in a timely manner
Strong presentations skills with experience presenting to business/technical audiences
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
Good understanding of Chinese Gaming industry
Preferred Requirements
Contacts/good relationship with local Chinese developers
Gaming industry experience including understanding of app store, game development on content distribution both in China/Singapore and globally
Detail-oriented, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact.
Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills with technical, contractual issues.
Advanced skill in MS Excel, and Powerpoint.
