Senior IT Engineer

About the Role
? Front line assistance for server/operational software related bug reports, troubleshooting, support contact
? Backup existing team to create/edit/delete usernames and passwords and user permissions in all operational software
? Collect software bug reports, interpret, and communicate with support colleagues and programmers.
? Collaborate with programmers on testing of new software releases.
? Deliver user training to internal clients on specific new features of operational software
? Cooperate with local IT hardware sys-admins on the server setup and network requirements etc where operational software is hosted or backed up or mirrored locally
? Cooperate with existing team on multi server configurations, caching, server configuration, proxies, new server installs, VPNs, and anti-DDoS work
? Monitor server performance, and cooperate on downtime incident management
? The role reports to Global IT Manager based in U.K. and work in parallel with teams in Shenzhen and Europe.
? The role is based in Shenzhen but travel to Hong Kong will be necessary.
About You(Chinese national with excellent English skill)
? Excellent customer service skills, ability to liaise with internal customers at varying levels within the business
? Strong hands-on experience
? Experience in remote work
? Strong sense of responsibility, self-driven personality.
? Proactive approach to problem solving, improvement-oriented
