Export Sales Technical Engineer
at SID in Beijing
Location: position based in China (Beijing or Jiangsu Province / Shanghai region), active in the India and Southeast Asia geographical area.
Company Description: SID is a renowned Swiss company specializing in the manufacturing and sales of solid waste pre-treatment equipment. With factories in Switzerland, Germany and China, we offer innovative technological solutions to our customers in various sectors. Among other things, we specialize in the design and manufacturing of production plants for alternative fuel made from waste that contribute to the limitation of CO2 emissions. As part of our expansion into India and Southeast Asia, we are looking for a talented and motivated Export Sales Technical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage technical and commercial support with group companies in India and Europe.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy for the geographical area covering Southeast Asia, in line with the company's objectives.
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities, recruiting local agents/distributors, directly targeting relevant industries and assessing the needs of potential customers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, offer technical advice, propose solutions tailored to their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
• Present and promote our products and services at meetings, trade shows and other business events in the region.
• Train agents/distributors on the company's products to ensure that they are up to date in their skills and can perform at their best in their market.
• Negotiate contractual conditions, prepare commercial offers and follow the steps of the sales process until the conclusion of contracts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as production, logistics and technical support, to ensure smooth project execution and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Conduct competitive intelligence, analyze market trends and propose strategic adjustments to maintain the company's competitiveness in target markets.
Qualifications:
• General engineering degree
• Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in an international context
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, negotiation skills with the ability to understand client needs and present technical solutions in a clear and convincing manner.
• Knowledge of the Indian and Southeast Asian markets, as well as trends and regulations specific to these regions is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, with Chinese (Mandarin) being a strong advantage.
Conditions:
