Our client is planning to open the very first British style restaurant in Langfang city. The restaurant is in a great location with a supermarket, gym, 5 star hotel, and many restaurants all within walking distance. The newly opened restaurant will have a bar as well as a main dining area to cater to all tastes and will offer a vivacious ambience. Our client is currently looking for a co-owner who can act as Chef of this innovative establishment to help run the business.

Job description:
 Fully responsible for the day to day running of and leading the kitchen team in a busy, high volume kitchen
 Work alongside the Restaurant Manager in delivering a consistent, quality service.
 Manage and train all kitchen staff as well as kitchen operations.
 Support the Chief Owner in acquiring the proper equipment and facilities.
 The Chef will adhere to all relevant hygiene and health and safety practices.
 The Chef must have the ability to cope under pressure
 Responsible for food preparation as well as food presentation
 Responsible for creating a British style menu

Job Requirements:
 Experience with cooking a variety of UK influenced dishes
 UK nationality preferred, or lived and worked in the UK for a long period of time.
 Must possess a genuine passion for food and service
 2 years kitchen experience working as a Chef or Sous Chef.
 Native English speaker preferred, fluent English a must.
Starting date: 2012
Duration: Full-time, 1-3 year contract
Salary: 10-20% of total restaurant profit starting the first month of employment
