Academic Manager
at New Oriental Education & Technology Group in Qingdao
New Oriental Education & Technology Group, the leading provider of private education in China, is partnering with Monash University, one of the "Group of Eight" Australian Universities, to offer a Foundation Year Program in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou. The purpose of the Foundation Year Program is to prepare Chinese students for study abroad by providing intensive instruction in academics communicated in English.
The Academic Manager, as the title suggests, will strictly be responsible for the management of the academics of the program, including development and design of current and new curriculum, implementation of curriculum, creation of syllabi, teacher training; and, speaking at Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) marketing events when necessary. The position will not be responsible for the management of operational aspects of the program at any level. All operational concerns will be managed by New Oriental MUFY Program Managers at each location.
Although the program is being offered in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou, the Academic Manager will be working alongside the New Oriental MUFY management team in Beijing allowing for easy communication.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
-Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
-Experience developing and implementing curriculum
-Experience in bridging or foundation programs preferred
-Native English Speaker
Salary:
-25,000RMB/Month
