Full-time English teacher.
at Shane English School in Beijing
At Shane English School we’re looking for a new full-time English teacher.
Shane English School was started in 1977 and has more than 350 schools in five different countries. We have a focus on teaching quality. We provide: excellent training, ongoing development, opportunities for promotion and comprehensive teaching resources.
Pay: The guaranteed monthly salary is 9,500 RMB. Since it’s guaranteed you don’t have to worry about not teaching enough classes, you’ll get paid that amount anyway. After six months you’ll get a raise. If you teach for more than 20 hours a week you’ll get paid overtime. On top of that you get a 3,000 RMB contract completion bonus.
Support: The Chinese staff can help with anything from getting a visa to finding an apartment. You will always have two days a week off. You will have a western manager.
Requirements: You must have native-level English, a Bachelor’s degree and a TEFL qualification. You must have at least one year full-time teaching experience (to qualify for a working visa). You must be committed to completing training, planning classes carefully and providing a high quality learning experience to your students.
Start: Two upcoming positions are available, one starting January 17 2011 and the other starting February 14 2011 (note: the visa application process for China takes approximately 6 weeks).
Location: Haidian District in Beijing, see Google Maps: http://goo.gl/HWft
