MSRA, located in Beijing, China, is the basic research facility of Microsoft in the Asia-Pacific region. With the goal to achieve Microsoft’s vision in computing technologies by nurturing talented researchers in the field, MSRA partners with leading regional universities in joint-efforts of research and education. As one of the main functions of the research arm, the University Relations group is responsible for effectively communicating and collaborating with academics in the region. As a member of the University Relations team, the position provides a unique opportunity to define applied market strategies and academic programs integrated with overall organizational missions and business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
We are looking for an English Editor to help with developing and preparing announcements on key regional programs and projects
· Polishing program plans, positioning the program in line with the overall business objectives across the region· Packaging documentation of regional projects in English
· Providing high quality English documentation including relevant University Relations web sites, newsletter of feature stories and other regional event announcements
· Provide English writing training for group members
Requirements:
1. Native English Speaker.
2. Strategic thinking and the polishing of technological capabilities into acceptable messages for targeted audience is a plus.
3. Have editor, reporter, journalist or training is a plus.
4. Minimum 10 hour per week; Minimum work for half a year.
