Role/Purpose:
Develops and execute sales strategy to maximize penetration and revenue in Platform business.
Understands WW Platform business strategy and implement in China.
Generates new business by developing leads, programs and/or expanding existing accounts or channels.
Responsibilities:
· Align with WW Platform team to define China platform business strategy, implement the strategy and timely report the result
· Together with assigned dealers, follows up on sales leads within assigned areas and resellers. Develops long term strategy to drive the volume business and maintains quarterly product forecast.
· Design programs to incentivize partners to expand customer coverage, accelerate sales and beat competition
· Assists reseller in developing sales and marketing plans to increase and improve market coverage.
· Analyzes coverage model and makes recommendations to the regions as to how many resellers are required and how those resellers could best be utilized.
· Plays an active role in obtaining feedback from customers, resellers, and field sales teams and relays information to APAC management to help assess and determine future product requirements and direction.
· Working together with the Marketing team; plans and coordinates all product launch activities for primary products across China.
· Develop training and education programs for all field and reseller resources. Provides resources for training and authorizing new product and industry resellers.
· Assists with developing product pricing strategy by providing input to Company regarding customer buyer values and competitive forces in the marketplace.
· Collects and disseminates competitive information to resellers
Requirement:
· 12+ years of working experience with an international company in channel sales or product marketing function, ideally with a strong background in the software or technology industry
· Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
· Strong business acumen, Strong leadership skills with ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization
· Robust in analytical and critical thinking – required to help formulate successful business strategies and tactics
· Capable of working in a highly matrixed environment, with a broad range of professionals.
· Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills.
