Job Description
Purpose of Position:
This position is to assist students to learn subject knowledge in particular with the focus on the language transition and to help the course director with curriculum design to achieve the best understanding for the students.

• Assist with curriculum development in the subject of Mathematics, Science and Economic, able to contribute to the development of the course to a full extend in order to ensure the best outcome for the students, to maximize their academic potential and preparing them for Western Universities
• Co-ordination of classroom management and teaching of mathematics, sciences and Economic subjects at the entrance level
• Assist with running tutorial classes for students
• Advise students with the study path for Western Universities
• Demonstrate a knowledge of contemporary developments in teaching
• Demonstrate a proven capacity to improve student learning and promote academic excellence
• Communicate with students via multimedia
• Assist with development of assessment system to test the knowledge of the students at different stage to keep track of their progress
• Prepare report for students’ progress and provide feedback in their academic performance
• Report to management team with the progress of the course development

Skills

• Bilingual, proficient with both Chinese and English
• Enthusiastic in teaching
• Mathematics/Science/Accounting/Economic/Business Studies. Possess a degree relevant to subject area.
