What – How – Why
- Anticipate and identify future people-related issues to ensure the Regional people strategies (e.g., staffing needs, retention, performance management, succession planning, diversity, reward and recognition, change management) are consistent with the current and future needs of the business
- Ensure the execution of people initiatives and tactics that are aligned with key business strategies
- Role Model the utilization of effective people systems with the regional and market HR teams (competency-based interview, Performance Development System, Rewards and Recognition, etc.)

What – How – Why
- Influence and coach on people decisions (e.g., staffing, development, employee relations) to ensure alignment with people strategies, applicable employment laws and to maximize results
- Provide constructive advice and counsel on the people implications of Regional business strategies/initiatives.
- Provide advice, counsel and coaching to regional staff and regional leadership to effectively manage the implications (budget, travel, communications, equipment, networking, performance) of a remote work force

Role Model the utilization of effective people systems with the HR teams (competency-based interview, Performance Development System, Rewards and Recognition, etc.)

What – How – Why
- Where applicable, select and deploy HR staff necessary to best meet the needs of the business and ensures they have the skills and capability to perform their roles effectively through individual and team development.
- Provide input HR team regarding design and development of needed services, processes and tools necessary to execute the people strategy
- Anticipate and determine responses to HR-related crisis situations (e.g., third-party interventions, health and safety issues and wage and hour audits)
- Build and maintain relationship with regional government to be updated with policy and create employer image in region market
- Lead HR team to ensure effective implementation of key people initiatives, share best practices, proactively identify emerging business issues and collaborate on developing solutions

Job Specific Knowledge:

Industry Specific Experience: - Engineering industry related experience is preferred
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: - Bachelor or above degree in human resource management
HSE Capability: - Has high sense of HSE
IT Skills: - Computer literacy, Skilled in Excel, PPT People Skills:
- Ability to develop professional relationships with line managers and other parties
- Ability to have good relationships with outsourced vendor
- Ability to have a good communication with location C&B specialists
Other: - Fluent in both written and oral English
