Account Manager Exhibition & Sponsorship
at MESAGO Holding Exhibitions China in Beijing
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Objec:
Responsible for selling exhibition booths and raw space as well as sponsorships for an international exhibition organizer with an exciting portfolio of shows.
Responsibilities:
• maintain relationships with existing key clients and develop relationships with potential clients
• prospect new business
• organize the whole sales process, incl. preparation of quotations and follow up
• visit trade exhibitions, events and conferences
• record sales and order information and communicate with the billing department
• review own sales performance, meet or exceed targets
• collect market and customer information and gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
Job Specifications:
• 3-5 years sales experience in the exhibition/conference/events industry
• Chinese national with proficient English skills
• strong & ambitious sales character
• ability to work independently and meet given targets
• ability to negotiate with high-level industry representatives and government officials
• proven successful sales record
• strong understanding of customers, market dynamics and requirements.
• willingness to travel
