Job description

• Be responsible for generating software and firmware code supporting a wide array of photonics instrumentation equipment, including various laser imaging systems
• Take the form of Graphical User Interfaces, customer specific applications and embedded firmware utilizing RS232, IEEE 488, and USB interfaces
• Knowledge of data acquisition hardware and software and Microsoft Visual C++ NET
• Accept initial training at the US headquarter office in Newton, NJ

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in EE, CS, CE or other related field
• Experience in developing embedded software for micro-controller based instruments in C and C++ programming languages and assembly language
• Experience in working in a US company in the respective industry
• Ability to read and understand analog/ digital electronic circuit and logic diagrams
• Knowledge of the USB 2.0 system architecture and the ability to design embedded application for USB devices
• Skilled in designing graphic user interface (GUI) applications
• Ability to use standard electronic test equipment
• Knowledge in using and developing GUI software for national instruments lab windows / CVI
• Ability to write detailed software and hardware interface specifications and software requirements specifications based on product requirements developed by others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as problem solving and analytical skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
