Assistant Manager, Chemical regulations

Job description
This person will take overall responsibility for the following key objectives:
- Major support to track and collect new and updated Chemical Regulations and Trade Control regulations. Work with internal stakeholders, e.g. supply chain and business units to support the implementation of policies, processes, and internal communications on legal updates.
- Support the team leader and manager to prepare legal advices.
- Interpret and communicate regulation changes to internal stakeholders, AS/E, GUP, business units and coordinate compliance measures.
- Handle or coordinate new chemicals notification and dossiers preparations. Compile annual reports to the authorities. Attend qualification training courses according to authority requirements.
- Handle enquires on Chemical Regulations from business units and customers. Liaise with regional Business Units and/or Operation Divisions when dealing with product safety related issues.

Candidates
Both Internationals and local Chinese
Qualifications
University degree in scientific area, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline , at least 3 years (Master degree) or 6 years (Bachelor) relevant experience
- Sound knowledge in Chemistry and product safety are the MUST
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Good understanding on global and local chemical legislation system, master data system, supply chain processes and business processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Be result oriented
- Proactive and be able to work under pressure and independently
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
