Brazil & Latin America Project Account Director

Full-time at DHgate in Beijing

Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Take leadership of a dedicated team of sales and customer service executives to engage and grow DHgate business buyers in Brazil
2. Oversee effort to build a localized micro e-marketplace in Portuguese language, working closely with DHgate UE, design and engineering teams
3. Manage process of optimizing user experience for Portuguese language site and localization of marketplace product selection
4. Plan and implement local language onsite marketing and eDM campaigns in Portuguese, provide regular channel of fresh sourcing ideas to DHgate Brazil business buyers
5. Build an active online SNS community for Brazil buyers, proactively cultivate and support direct relationships with large individual buyer accounts
6. Formulate and carry out DHgate expansion strategy in Brazil and Latin America through marketing and strategic alliance partnerships

Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years working experience in international trade and/or e-commerce, specifically China-to-Brazil cross border trade
2. Familiarity with B2B and eDM marketing, and ability to work with across teams to deliver projects and quality control them
3. Strong management skills, ability to direct and motivate support staff, but ready to also be hands-on when required
4. Strong entrepreneurial drive, desire to build and grow a new business from scratch
5. Must speak Portuguese and English (native level preferred). Ability to also speak Chinese and Spanish is a plus.
6. Position is based in Beijing, however regular travel to other parts of China may be needed.
