FMCG MARKET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
at Asia Research Recruitment in Shanghai
This major global agency is looking to strengthen their highly successful New Product Development team, and is recruiting for an Associate Director role based in Shanghai.
The team already works with some of the world’s largest multinational companies, and this position will provide immediate high-level engagement with a major FMCG manufacturer, working across a broad range of product categories in the dynamic China market.
The role will be very client-facing, while providing engagement across the research cycle from proposal to presentation.
Applicants should have at least six years experience on either the agency- or client-side, and have fluent English (Mandarin is not essential, although obviously it is preferred). Key to being successful in this role is the ability to build and maintain great client relationships. Additionally, you should be a very strong communicator with a deep understanding of one or more FMCG categories, to help the client understand their business needs and design research that helps them solve key strategic and tactical issues. While the role is primarily quantitative in nature, an understanding of qualitative research would be useful as many research projects are qual/quant hybrid approaches.
