Accountancy Teacher
at Metro-Education in Shanghai
Job Summary:
A Full-Time teaching position which requires the delivery of Papers/Courses under The International Association of Accountants (AIA) to High School, University graduates and working adults.

Metro Education represents The International Association of Accountants (AIA) in Shanghai and is responsible for the delivering of the required Papers/Courses. Students who pass the required Papers/Courses are awarded the AIA Professional Qualification and carry the designator AAIA as their qualification.
Responsibilities:
• Design course curriculum materials for the AIA programe
• Set, moderate and grade the exam papers for the AIA programe
• Plan and deliver lessons in a clear and appropriate manner
• Monitor and maintain high student morale and motivation
• Ensure student discipline
• Assist with school promotional activities
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or related discipline (MBA holders will be viewed favorably)
• At least 5 years industry experience with preferably 3 years lecturing experience in a similar capacity
• To be able to deliver the following courses in English: Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Taxation, Tax Planning, Company Law, Management Accounting, Management Information, Information Processing and Economics
• Experience in delivering professional qualification courses e.g. ACCA, AIA, CIMA will be viewed favourably
• Ability to teach in English and Chinese is a plus
• Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to handle students of different nationalities
