GSC Statistical Analyst

Job Duties
- Develop and conduct surveys to obtain information the company requires.
- Drive timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems.
- Apply sampling techniques to develop appropriate surveys based on the needs of the company.
- Research new data sources and analytical tools.
- Evaluate sources of survey data to determine whether survey information is reliable and usable.
- Create statistical models and graphic representations of survey information.
- Maintain historical data gathered through statistics gathering techniques.
- Use data gathered through sampling techniques to show relationships between respondents in a sample survey.
- Organize collected data for review and correct any inconsistencies in the results of surveying methods
- Present information to the organization in user-friendly models such as graphs, charts and reports.
- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests.
- Develop awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organization, department, and/or customer.
- Identify system or process problems based on survey feedback and engage the team in problem solving.
- Facilitate satisfactory communication of problems identified through customer surveys.
- Plan, evaluate, coordinate, and manage corrective actions across global organizations, including organizations outside of Global Supply Chain.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Capability to present highly technical information to an executive audience.
- Experience with statistical processing software and database tools.
- Experience in customer-facing role or customer-focused project engagements
Qualifications and Education
- Master’s degree in business analysis, statistics or mathematics.
- >7 years of professional experience
- Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, JMP, SAS, experience with Informatica data quality toolset or similar products
- SQL skills and experience of working with relational (Oracle) and non-relational databases
- PMI preferred but not required
