Reports to Business Development Director.
Role Overview
This is a qualified individual contributor sales role working within and collaborating with the Northern Region development team in China and worldwide through cross border business development.
The successful candidate has to build medical assistance, medical advisory and medical staffing business with MNCs with a focus on companies having expatriates and travelers/ projects in the more remote areas of China and Asia Pacific.
The successful candidate will have to be able to break new ground by educating decision-makers in untap areas on the need for direct medical and security risk management and membership services, to highlight by case examples the actual risks, and by convincing them of the merits, of having, in addition to and complementary to overseas health insurance, a medical assistance facility in place in the form of an annual contract - which stipulates access to services, communications procedures and grants post-case payment - with an expert provider with significant infrastructure and on the ground know-how in the complex areas where the MNC has expatriates and business travelers, so as to be able to get immediate expert medical assistance if and when the need arises.

Required Experience
• 5+ years working with a multinational company (Chinese, Asian or Western) in a new business development role.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong short, mid and long term pipeline. Demonstrated ability to close business.
• Direct experience of selling to the business services sector and/or project related work is preferred.
• Experience in solutions and strategic selling.
• Experience with both short and long sales cycles.
• Experience in giving senior level presentations.
