Key responsibilities:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
New client contact identification
- Collect new potential clients contact information through Internet, business directories or other channels eg tradeshows, conferences and new sector research
- Add new client contacts to company Access Database and provide monthly report
Existing client database maintenance
- Maintain current client contacts information up to date
- All communication with clients are recorded timely in the company Access Database
Proposal and quote support
- To find industry, company or product background information to support proposal and quote preparation
- Prepare project teams bios
- Prepare SAI’s qualification in the specific industry/topic
Tele-marketing
- Arrange appointments with current and potential clients for senior management by email and telephone in English
- Conduct online research and prepare meeting documents for each appointment made for Senior Management Team. This includes completed project lists by client, historical meeting notes, account key contact persons and histories, company background and recent news
- Organize sales meeting notes to generate internal notifications in the format of Sales Call Report (SCR)
- Draft follow-up email with necessary supporting documents after sales meeting completed
Project administration support
- Update completed project list by client
- Update experience list in PPT format by industry, function and geography
- Update project assessment list (excel)
- Write up project case study
- Other ad hoc project support as necessary
Marketing communication
- Preparation SAI’s monthly e-newsletter to clients (mailer)
- Webinar participants registration including attendees list, webinar logistics and content update
Trade show
- Identifying relevant upcoming trade shows and conferences in Asia through online research to ensure SAI’s presence and participation
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Manage SAA’s knowledge base to support the business needs, providing a platform that knowledge are managed and unutilized efficiently. This includes:
Track books and publications
- Track books
- Update SAA publication list regularly
Update knowledge management public folder
- Update the knowledge management folder on a regular basis including maintaining and updating a centralized website list
Internal knowledge base retrieve and support
- Help project team retrieve useful info from past projects at the beginning of each project
- Identify relevant reports from SAI’s completed projects database to support new and existing project needs
- Help project team retrieve archived project files for relevant past projects to access contact lists, call reports and other related hard copy materials
- Help project team find in-house publications or books that might be relevant to the project
- Check the list of subscription databases and online information services and search for useful info for project team by using Nexis or other search tools
Post Project Review Management
- Organize post project review, monitor the review process and supervise collection and usage of relevant information
- Monitor post project review after 1-4 weeks of project completion
- Consolidate all individual projects lists into a central contacts master list for future utilization
- Have responsibility on overall post project review and following actions management
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
- Fluent in Chinese and English (essential)
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Flexible, willing to undertake tasks outside of job description
- Ability to conduct online research independently and effectively, previous experience in online research is a plus
- Strong business sense with a understanding of target markets
- Good communication skills, particularly on the phone
- MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use Access database
The position is based in Beijing, very little travel is required. Competitive compensation will be offered for the right candidate.
