Shenzhen: China Electronics Human Resource Expert

Looking for a Chinese-speaking expat with experience in HR to assist us with running our office of 100+ staff on western training and organizational principles.

In this job you would be working with expats and Chinese colleagues, developing training programs, documenting standard procedures, assisting with the hiring process, organizing staff training and social events, and maintaining staff communications and personal files.

This is an interesting long-term and stable position which would suit young expats who are married or settling down for a long China career.

Salary range c 12,000-18,000 RMB / month after probation period, with advancement prospects. Working visa application after 3 month probation period.

Your job will be to work full time based out of our office in Nanshan, Shenzhen, sourcing new products for Chinavasion.com.

Main Duties:

  • Write / translate / edit HR or Admin notices and emails
  • Attend meetings to represent the HR Dept and report back on teams and staff members
  • Maintain English language HR files on staff
  • Hold face to face meetings with staff to discuss problems, training, or suggestions
  • Write / edit / upload / maintain / refresh English language job ad listings, like this one ;)
  • Monitor HR inboxes and respond to English language job applications
  • Handle the first part of the job applicant process for foreigners (e.g. filtering/screening, collecting information and responses, initial interview)
  • Write / translate / edit English language HR and training docs.
  • Organize company social events.

Skills Required

  • Advanced Mandarin speaker
  • Living in China for more than 3 years
  • Experience of working in a company in HR areas
  • Want to live and work in Shenzhen long term

  • Strong interpersonal skills

Office Working hours:

  • 9am-6pm Monday-Friday
  • Daily lunch break 1200-1330
  • Several days’ paid holiday for all staff in addition to Chinese national holidays.
