Pharmacist-United Family Healthcare

Full-time at United Family Healthcare in Beijing

Summary of Responsibilities:

Dispensing medication to patients and providing information about medication to patients and hospital staff, performing clinical pharmacy projects.

Qualifications:
· Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
· 3 years work experience in a pharmacy (community or hospital) setting or 3 years work experience in international clinic setting
· Registered Pharmacist License preferred.

Skills:
· Be able to perform the above duties independently.· Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
· Provide supervision and training to junior pharmacist

Knowledge:
· Knowledge of government laws pertaining to drugs, narcotics and pharmacy practice.
· Knowledge of drug information in English and Chinese and familiar with drug reference books in work place

Responsibilities:
Primary Duties-
· Reviews and interprets prescription orders and verifies accuracy and completeness of patient labeling and input into pharmacy computer.
· Evaluates and resolves real or potential prescription related problems.
· Provides patient consultation on prescription and OTC medications.
· Establish a pharmaceutical care practice in conjunction with physicians and other care providers.
· Reviews inpatient orders and screens them for possible duplications, interactions.
· Dispense medication to in-house patients
· Actively participates in clinical pharmacy projects· Provides guidance and supervision for junior pharmacists and pharmacist trainees.
