Key Account Manager/Sales Manager
at Jump Asia in Shanghai
Job Description
- Responsible to develop the business through new Accounts in major distributors (Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Chain stores, specialized stores, Department stores, e-business, etc …) and other distribution channels
- Initiate and manage the overall selling process by understanding customer expectations and reaching company financial target, including negotiation and closing of sales terms and conditions.
- Develop strong and long term relationship with buyers and store management team.
- Be aware and follow all account PO’s and Delivery status and solve problems in the delivery process
- Liaise with Marketing Department, plan the yearly “Promotion/Event Plan” and negotiate it with all distributors.
- Responsible of the operation team (Merchandisers and promoters), he will have to manage it including budget elaboration, set up sales and Bonus targets.
- Guarantee that the sales strategy (Assortment, promotions, events) is strictly applied through frequent store visits
- During the store visits, grab all opportunities to push the sales through additional activities to be discussed with stores directly.
- Be aware to competitor and market trend changes (product, pricing) and make recommendation for new product development.
- Monitor and analyze all sales and margin indicators to maximize company profit; meeting financial targets is a requirement.
- Be responsible for the recruitment and training of the sales team.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge and experience in main distributors (Carrefour, Rt-Mart, Tesco, Walmart)
- Minimum of 5 year experience in Sales and team management, must be a “natural born” seller
- Successful track record in sales and target achievement
- Motivation, dynamism, competitive spirit, Positive and the “can do” attitude is required
Skills and Ability
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proactive
- Excellent communication skills and presentation (External and internal)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
English spoken would be a plus, written is a must.
