Area Manager
at Large multinational corporation in service industry in Shanghai
Responsibilities:
- The main responsibilities for AM is to satisfy our client
- Guarantee the client satisfaction by regular visit.
- Submit client report by meeting client
- Understand expectation of client, response to clients' requirement.
- Be reactive and provide action plan in case of incident.
- Be aware of new moves and evolution of client
- Manage the customer survey with frequency requirement of client
- Define the action plan with Unit Manager following survey result
- Attend all food committees hold in his area
- Ensure that complaint have been replied in due time and in a right way.
- Developing and increasing existing services, such as buffet, food event, tea room serviceā¦
- Promote other support services to current client, find out any potential business
- Take part in Development of new Client. For example, prepare for site visit and introduce the daily operation
- Full communicate with BD for the opening new site and set up analysis meeting with BD and Client
- Provide related information on market and competitors
- Manage his team and help them to develop Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress.
- Identify staff with talent, and then introduce them to HR.
- In charge of recruitment of supervisors
- Set up objectives for subordinates, and manage them to achieve the objectives. Make yearly performance assessment
- Guide his team to make action plan in order to achieve the company target
- Propose budgets for validation with spirit of progress, and guarantee the achievement of Budgets
- Ensure accuracy of financial data
- Implement in his/her area the company quality standards
- To ensure the respect, understanding and application of company philosophy, core values and ethical principles
Requirements:
- Diploma degree or above

- Proven knowledge of food and beverage services
- 3+ years managing experience in related service industries like hotel, retailing, food and beverage services etc.
- With good service sense, strong communication skills, and team spirit
- Be able to work under great pressure and be able to solve emergency accident independently.
- Good PC skills and fluent English speaking/writing skills is must.
