Finance Manager (R&D)

Full-time at Johnson & Johnson Suzhou in Suzhou

Position: Finance Manager (R&D)
Reporting to: Regional Finance Director, NBD and RND
Location: Suzhou / Shanghai

Responsibilities:
- Provide finance support to the leadership of RND; conduct independent and objective financial analyses (Cash Flow, PNL, Balance Sheet, NPV, ROI, etc.) of new opportunities.
- Apply business knowledge to challenge teams and make recommendations to management in support of MDD strategic goal of growth through RND.
- Work with all levels of management and across all functions; partner in formulating presentations for Management approval. Provide financial analysis and recommendations
- Ensuring IP and Tax related aspects of projects are carefully considered in designing the financial flows of a project
- Ensuring timely intercompany charging of costs to various JNJ entities around the world

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required (Finance or Accounting major preferred), MBA desirable.
- 6 years or above of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
- Must have strong financial analysis and systems skills (Excel, PowerPoint, General Ledger, @Risk and ability to pick up new systems quickly)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Understanding of statistical analysis including risk analysis is required. Strong written, presentation skills and ability to work cross-functionally required
