PROGRAM OUTREACH MANAGER
at GOLDEN BRIDGES in Beijing
Golden Bridges is launching a program to serve American Alumni whom have lived and studied in China. We will be creating social media tools and offline campaigns to energize and strengthen their capacity to engage, connect and succeed in the China context. This initiative has already received presidential support from the White House, as part of its 100,000 Strong Initiative (http://goo.gl/L4urn). The successful launch of the program has promise to be announced by Hillary Clinton in May during the next US-China Strategic & Economic Dialogs between American and Chinese officials. Although government supported, this program will be independently run and controlled by the Golden Bridges team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a program outreach manager you will be our chief agent of happiness for American alumni communities. Working in partnership with the CEO, you will help design an innovative, catalytic and scalable program to engage member groups in meaningful ways. Your job will entail leading the creation of official partnerships, campaigns, and services that best meet the emotional and functional needs of members. As a core part of the executive team, you will have an instrumental role in developing and implementing the organization’s marketing products and long-term strategy, helping to build our capacity for continued exponential growth.

This position requires someone not intimidated by the prospects of building something from scratch, or working obsessively to achieve groundbreaking results.
- Intelligence and Maturity – American alumni from China are not your average Joes. You must be able to hold your own and establish instant credibility within these unique and amazing communities. Over 5 years of professional work experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with American China-Alumni network groups – Possessing an understanding of the social culture and various navigation channels of American alumni groups related to China-study programs are a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and define target member segments and navigation channels
- Design and lead a meaningful and scalable outreach strategy
- Develop, implement and track effectiveness of outreach strategy
- Work with program team to conceive the features, functionality, culture & values of online community
- Work with web developers and designers for the branding and development of the site
- Inspire, engage and manage a team of volunteers, leading their efforts in members outreach
- Propagate values of our community; expand a trusted image and brand for Golden Bridges
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary and benefits will be comparable with international nonprofit standards in Beijing.
