ENF Recruitment - Finance Manager, China Office
at ENF in Wuhu
We are offering a big challenge: For someone with UK financial background to come to work for us in central China managing an international flow of finances and mapping out budget flows in more and more advanced ways.
Although we can offer an amazing experience and challenge, we can't offer an amazing salary. Those with a long-term view may see a strong benefit to their career path, and may place more importance on experience than short-term income.
Job Responsibilities
The job will be to work in our finance department as finance manager, reporting to the senior finance manager - but also giving some direct updates to the CEO and attending management meetings.
- Manage the company's cash flows - Stirling & Euro accounts in the UK / Dollar, Euro and RMB accounts in China.
- Manage tax issues, working out the best ways to direct cash flows to reduce tax burdens. We are a rare example in the local geography of paying all the taxes we are supposed to, and we have zero tolerance to paying local bribes - so you will not be asked to put yourself in an uncomfortable position as we have a high moral standard.
- Advise (with support from the financial team) on reinvestment issues, and currency issues (the best timing to transfer our Euro and Stirling cash sitting in UK to RMB cash in China)
- Manage UK accounting (day to day booking, PAYE, ESCL, VAT, tax return etc)
- Calculate department budgets and department profitability analysis (for example expenses of departments such as IT, Finance etc. need to be spread across product generating departments)
- Work with the Internal Automation Team to advance the automation of the finance department, creating advanced automated flows of information such as paid invoices automatically flowing through to department revenues and accruing immediate available budget to those departments.
- Work with the IT team to automate other areas such as incoming credit card purchases automatically flowing into the finance system.
- Select and deploy some powerful financial software within the department, ensuring smooth integration with other software platforms (with assistance from IT / Internal Automation staff)
Requirements
- Financial background.
- Familiar with UK accounting rules and policies.
- Good Excel skills. Advanced Excels skills a plus.
- Experience in tax planning / advising
- Ability to manage accounting staff. Ability to take over much of the direct work done by our UK accountant a strong plus.
- Good software abilities (to proactively evolve financial software platforms)
- Good project planning skills, and ability to inspire the confidence of other department managers in the finance department.
- Fluent English (Chinese not required)
Compensation
s ENF pay to flights and visa costs and assist in visa application.
s Accommodation within a shared apartment or partial allowance.
s 15 days of paid vacation in addition to Chinese National Holidays.
s Monthly 4700 RMB + ~20% performance bonus + management profit share scheme.
Working Hours:
40 hours weekly
Note: Job requires a commitment to minimum 18 months working period.

Further Information about pay:
