Executive Assistant to Managing Partner
at Epoch International in Beijing
Full-time position available for self-starter to serve as executive assistant to American general manager in our rapidly expanding international education services company. There will also be some marketing duties if the candidate has interest in this area.
This is a very responsible position with very good promotion potential and a fast track to a management position.
Job Purpose:
Enhance executive's effectiveness by providing information management support and general office management; representing the executive to others; assist with marketing development and execution.
Duties:
• Provides written and oral translation when necessary.
• Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
• Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive.
• Supervises and delegates required tasks to office staff.
• Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff; following up on results.
• Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
• Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
• Assistant in developing marketing plans and market company’s service to clients
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Marketing Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Verbal Communication
Requirements:
• One or more years overseas study or work experience highly preferred, or previous work experience in study abroad programs or other higher education-related industry.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in business, marketing, education, or related field,
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimum supervision
Ability to effectively delegate and oversee employees' successful completion of tasks
• Excellent English and Chinese speaking and writing ability
• Marketing experience preferred
Local driver's license preferred but not required
