Project Manager(German Speaking)

Job Title: Project Manager(German Speaking)
Location: Shanghai, China
Main Responsibilities:
1. Large Project Execution (Mainly for International Clients)
PM capability build up and responsibilities
Build a team & capability for project management for multidisciplinary projects: co-ordination of BV China team and BV network world-wide involved in a project, project execution organization, production scheduling and control, cost control, management of interfaces inside of BV and also with clients, reporting, etc.
Build the necessary technical capabilities and resources for project management: engineering, procurement & contract, construction and commissioning, technical advices
Integrate and expand PM services with technical services and new products/services to meet clients various needs within whole project
Responsible for each large PM Projects in charge of the operational margin
In 3 year plan, to develop and lead a Large PM Business Unit within CTC cross China and support BV global network
Leading to develop a PM working system & procedure
PM Implementation Plan (PMIP) and procedures
Development / customisation of necessary PM tools (on line platform and software)
Find out suitable PM organisation chart and key personnel in line with developing CTC organization
Managing and Controlling of the PM Contract under his responsibilities
Expediting of contract tasks including mobilisation of personnel and sub-contracting
Communication with the Client and other parties
Documents control
Follow up / monitoring of project schedule and cost
Contract invoicing and money collection
Quality Assurance
PM contract close out
Final report / final payment/lesson learned
Client satisfactory survey
After service
2. PM Business Development
Marketing / Business Development
Elaborate PM Service development strategy to ensure PM business sustained growth Develop PM marketing & sales strategy and project leads searching and follow up
Put in place and keep high efficiency of a PM business information and industry intelligence system
Customer Relationship Management with Foreign Clients, especially with Key Account Clients;
Promote BV PM image by participating to seminar, presentations, Chamber of Commerce
Maintain Business Communication with Clients, BV network and Construction(CTC) Tribe;
Preparation of PM pre-qualification dossier / questionnaire
PM Offer / tender for International Clients
Tender Analysis / Contract Review (contractual, legal and technical aspects)
Preparation of Technical Offer (method of statement, contract organisation structure, deliverables, etc…)
Preparation of Commercial Offer (price structure, cost / time / resources / profit estimation, price conditions / limitations, etc.)
Offer follow up and negotiation
Sign contract
Qualifications Required:
1.Educational Background:High technical education in Architecture or Civil or Mechanical or Electrical engineering as well as Project Management. Education for technical and commercial or management.Good knowledge of Chinese language/culture and China working experience. Native German, French, British or American preferred.
2.Work experience required (fields, number of years): 10+ years’ experience in the discipline concerned and minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering Management. 2+ years Sales and marketing experience or business development for the building/property, infrastructure, real estate industry.
3.Required skills (Tech, IT knowledge, others…): Deep knowledge and understanding of construction industry. Familiar with building and infrastructure project management and strong PM execution skill. Technical background, good knowledge of the relevant construction standard/code will be an advantage. Business acumen, strategy development and implementation. Business development & commercial activities organization, particularly Key Account. Management, capability to dialogue with client top management and project manager. Strong leadership and execution skill. Excellent skills in communication, negotiation. Team management, HR management as an operation leader. Good computer skills (Lotus Note, MS office, PowerPoint, MS Project).
4.Required languages (level) : English (fluent), German, Chinese
5.Personality: Strong leadership and business acumen, business development oriented, good organization, high motivation and adaptability, capability to conduct business under high competition environment, team work. Good personal network with international clients. Personal network in China will be advantage.
