Clinic Specialist(SLP,OT,Psychologist,Learning Support)

Details:
Specific professional responsibilities include:
•Conduct high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services and/or academic interventions, including as appropriate: intakes, observations, screenings, formal and informal assessments, individual and group sessions following ELG policies and protocols.
•Consulting to families, schools, parent groups or organizations, etc.
•Providing services for Clinic, Learning Annex and ILC.
•Follow ELG’s policies and protocols concerning deadlines, follow-up, forms and reports, communication, quality assurance, peer supervision, attending meetings, etc.
Additional responsibilities include:
•Develop, provide and participate in internal professional development activities (seminars, workshops, etc.) aiming to create a community of learners within our organization.
•Develop, provide and participate in external professional development activities (seminars, workshops, etc.) as part of ELG’s community outreach activities.
•Contribute to ELG’s professional network and build a strong personal, professional network in the educational and professional community and internationally, focused on receiving referrals and being able to refer clients to other professionals as needed.
•Follow policies and procedures in recording weekly activities and making use of time not-spent with clients or client-related activities to work on relevant Projects. Projects could include location or team related activities; it is strongly encouraged to use this time for developing and implementing professional knowledge in the quality and quantity of services of ELG.
•Recruit new clients
•Recruit potential colleagues
Specialists should be able to or work towards independence as defined by:
•Delivery of assessment, therapeutic, and intervention services with minimal supervision.
•Writing reports and progress notes with minimal supervision.
•Managing client relationships with minimal supervision.
•Managing professional/school relationships with minimal supervision.
•Having a good understanding of one’s own knowledge, capacity and capabilities and actively reaching out for and/or organizing support and/or additional training when needed.
Requirements
•Specialist must have all relevant degrees and certificates to hold the current position and be licensed to perform their job in at least one country.
•A good understanding of cultural differences that may affect working relationships with superiors, colleagues and/or clients. Working in an environment with different language speakers and multiple cultures can be challenging; a positive and optimistic approach in overcoming personal and professional challenges when dealing with how this affects everyday work is expected.
•A personal and professional attitude that focuses on meeting the needs of clients and understanding that though one’s own professional training and/or experiences are limited, outside referral may not always be an option.
•A personal and professional attitude that is based on values such as: supporting others, recognizing own limitations and actively looking for support and feedback, asking questions when things/responsibilities/ activities/policies/protocols are unclear; constantly wanting to improve quantity and quality of services by oneself and ELG in general; respect.
•English language proficiency in verbal and written communication; additional languages are appreciated.
