Bid Manager (American, British and Australian candidates based in China only)

Client introduction:
As the worldwide leading provider of excellent customer relation management, our client operates a growing number of face-to-face contact centers worldwide. They are famed for providing an exceptional standard of personal customer service with unrivaled levels of security, management control and transparency. Their operations include providing customer care, technical support and visa services to clients.
Successful candidates will work in a multi-cultural environment based in Beijing. They will be required to take various business trips abroad. The client is a major company that provides candiadtes with plentiful opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the preparation of, and commercial response to, bids and proposals.
2. Assess and improve the companies bid process.
3. Respond quickly and accurately to complex PQQ (Pre-qualification Questionnaire), ITT (Invitation to Tender), RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Pricing) requests from customers.
4. Lead the internal bid process: liaise with sales team and executive management.
5. Ensure proposals are submitted on time and in-line with profit margin metrics.
6. Manage Bid Writers, Coordinators and Cost Estimators.
7. Oversee separate bids covering multiple sites in multiple countries (business trips abroad will be required).
Requirements:
1. University degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics or relevant discipline.
2. 2 to 4 years of experience writing proposals.
3. Ideally 2 years of experience leading proposal production process.
4. 1 to 2 years experience in team management would be preferable.
5. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading complex large-scale bid submissions and tenders, with experience of managing the full bid lifecycle on a range of solutions oriented opportunities.
6. Extremely presentable individual (successful candidates will regularly meet high-level customers)
7. Native English speaker, fluency in any other language is a distinct advantage.
Salary and benefits:
1 Basic Salary: 20,000 – 30,000 CNY/month (negotiable depending on experience)
2 Chinese national holidays
3 Working visa
