Marketing innovation manager for a multinational beer company

briefing 1. Drive and manage all kinds of Innovation Initiatives (International and Chinese Brands) within the marketing operation. The incumbent shall ensure that the company always has the right products, process and tools at the right time to support our marketing operation and product portfolio development by proactively developing all kinds of new things and making them available in the pipeline for implementation
2. Handle other sales and marketing tasks assigned by the company from time to time
Responsibilities
1. Develop the Innovation Strategies
2. Continuously identify Innovation Opportunities that fits into our Innovation Strategies, Marketing Strategies and Portfolio Strategies
3. Lead the innovation projects. For new product innovation, go through the Stage Gate process and finally provide the right products to the Marketing Manager
4. Work closely with the Marketing Manager in formulating the launch plan of the new product
5. Implement professional tools for innovation
6. Build strong relationships to local management to ensure that all strategies, plans and innovation are aligned with full supports
7. Participate in developing the portfolio strategies, incl. local brewery at provincial level
Profile
1. University graduate,
2. Minimum 7 years relevant marketing experience in FMCG industry in which 5 years at the managerial level, China experience is a must
3. Preferably with experience in MNC FMCG with strong focus on Portfolio Strategy Development and Innovation for mass market
4. Good leadership and communication skills (English, Chinese & Mandarin)
5. Based in Guangzhou with frequent travel in China is required
