Great Position for a High School Teacher
at North America Education International in Many cities in China
North America Education International (NAEI) is an international education organization located in both the USA and China. NAEI has long-standing relationships to many educational partners throughout North America and China.
At NAEI we are committed to introducing top quality international education resources, developing global education cooperation, training international professionals and offering professional services to international students from all over the world.
We are currently seeking well-presented individuals to teach in our International High School Programs in Wuhan, Foshan, Shenzhen, Nanhai, Beijing, Shangqiu, Zoucheng, and Heze. In these programs we offer advanced English language teaching and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) preparation courses for those who have the intention of undertaking further study in the U.S. or Britain after leaving high school. We also educate participants to American high school standard and British A-Level standard in the subject areas of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, and others.
Position Description
10-month contract
40-hour, 5-day working week (generally Monday-Friday)
Up to 20 classes (40-45 minutes) per week
Small class sizes (5-15 students)
Infrequent travel to other cities in China may be required for promotional events
Salary of 8-12000RMB (includes airfare reimbursement), dependent upon experience
Five weeks’ paid holidays (plus an extra week for each year of service if you choose to re-sign with us)
Well-furnished apartment
We will pay all costs (in China) pertaining to visa and residence permit paperwork.
What We Seek
Good dress presentation
Bachelor degree or higher qualification
Teaching experience in TOEFL/IELTS/SAT preparation and/or EAP
US, UK, Australian, Canadian passport holders
The following would be an advantage
Being in China and being available for a face-to-face meeting and demonstration class in either Wuhan or Shenzhen is highly desirable
Teaching experience in China (middle school ages and above)
Ability to teach other subjects to A-Level or US high school standard
