Behavior Therapist in an educatioanl company

Position - Functional Behavior Specialist:
Job Description:
Full time therapist position in Essential Learning Group shanghai, serving mainly expat clients (children, adolescents and families). Job scope includes but not limited to: conducting individual and group therapy, assessments, behavior analysis and consultation to teachers and parents.
Education and Training:
1.Master's degree in psychology or education, preferably MFT or CSW from credited school/program.
2.Specialization in child and adolescent behavior therapy: FBA, ABA, CBT, DBT.
3.Training in play therapy, music therapy and/or special learning support are also recommended.
Experience:
1.Minimum two years of working experience (for Chinese work visa reason). Familiar with working with schools, teachers, counselors and parents both in school setting and home service.
2.Experience in conducting intake, assessment, treatment planning, report meetings and therapy with minimal supervision and outstanding quality.
3.Being enthusiastic about the work and proactive in case management as well as both internal and external communication.
4.Work experience in a multidisciplinary team will be beneficial but not required.
5.Humble and flexible. Willing to learn and grow.
6.Cross-cultural working experience and cultural competence will be taken into consideration.
Other qualities:
1.Ability to adjust to the changes and new environment. Creative and flexible.
2.Independent problem solving skills and willing to take initiative in developing one's professional network
3.Self-motivated and self- disciplined. Excellent record keeping skill. Superior time management skill.
4.Skilled in meeting deadlines and following up with cases. Highly productive and efficient.
5.Good communication skills. A second language is beneficial but not required.
6.Enjoy working with children and families. Adventurous, confident, resilient and optimistic.
