Thermal Integration Leader
at Eicher Engineering Solutions in Shanghai
Job Responsibility:
- Active role will be for the Integration team leader for Aerodynamics in different customer projects
- Self responsible organisation, preparation and performing of Aerodynamics tests in the Aerowindtunnel incl. assessment, analysis and reporting of the test results
- Coordination CFD Simulation and Interpretation of the analysed Simulation results by Engineering Judgement
- Support in development strategy and training of local engineers in Aerodynamics field in complete vehicle department MSC
- Represent Magna Steyr, based on the customer site and Magna Steyr, Jiading as required.
This will be completed by:
- Definition of complete vehicle targets and supporting technical specification for module in alignment with Aero&Thermal manager and customer
- Self responsible and autonomous planning, controlling and performing of physical testing in China and abroad as well as for the virtual development (Simulation)
- Definition of VTS targets based on Benchmark vehicles (testing or simulation results)
- Deflection of needed measures for target achievement in teamwork with effected functional departments
- Responsible for development cost control (man power and material)
- Preparation of design review material to satisfy the gateway requirements
- To compile and issue engineering reports to track significant design, test or sign-off events
- To ensure sign-off of Simulation model and PT vehicle is conducted to the correct specifications and development status
- To assist in the selection of the most appropriate technologies, materials, and suppliers for component parts or systems
- Preparing/Presenting of detailed technical reports both internally and externally to customers
- Presenting summarized results to the project team in the specific project meetings
Qualification:
- Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Air flow dynamics, vehicle or related engineering courses.
- 8+ years of working experience in the Area Aerodynamics development
- Established knowledge in the field vehicle cooling & thermodynamics
- Ability to lead and to communicate within a team,
- Flexibility & willingness to travel
- Independend project management
- Fluent English in both oral and written
