Sales Associate, Financial consultancy

Z-Ben Advisors is a Shanghai-based research and strategy consulting firm, focusing on China's investment management industry. We are currently accepting applications for Sales Associates to market the company’s research and advisory services to Chinese and Global financial institutions. Account Executive is to market the company’s research and advisory services to Chinese and Global financial institutions.
Amongst other responsibilities, Z-Ben Advisors’ Sales Associates will aid the execution of the sales plan by identifying and targeting prospective client business, through conducting conference calls, face to face meetings with the primary goal to prospect new industry contacts. Associates will also work closely with our full-time analysts and consultants to develop a variety of deliverables and provide a superior on-going support to existing clients. After a year in this position, associates will have a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of developing relationships with executive level contacts, strategy generation and hands-on client consulting. Our staff will provide support and coaching. Those best-positioned to succeed at Z-Ben Advisors will have a self-starting personality and entrepreneurial disposition. Key Responsibilities
Aid the execution of the sales plan by identifying and targeting prospective client business, through conducting conference calls, face to face meetings with the primary goal to prospect new industry contacts
Understand customers' requirements and proceed to excellent implementation
Work closely with our full-time analysts and consultants to develop a variety of deliverables and provide a superior on-going support to existing clients
Have a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of developing relationships with executive level contacts, strategy generation and hands-on client consulting.
Manage and develop his/her portfolio through efficient, high-quality and trustworthy relations with clients and prospects.
Requirements
- English is a must, Mandarin is preferred, a third language is a plus
- Undergraduate degree (BA / BS) in a qualitative discipline where you developed strong communications and writing skills
- 1-2 years’ work experience in sales / client servicing, prospection and/or account management would be beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and possesses maturity skills necessary for client contact
- Ability to work independently as well as in team
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
