Marketing Manager
at EtonHouse International Preschool, Shanghai in Shanghai
This position will be based in EtonHouse China (Shanghai) and will work closely with the Principal, the operations team and the Marketing and Branding Team at EtonHouse Group Level.
Job Role & Responsibilities
(A) Parent Liaison
• Handle all email and phone inquiries and manage appointments for prospective parents
• Manage the Meet-and-Greet appointment process between teachers and prospective parents
• Maintain the inquirers database and develop an effective follow-up process to prospective parents for enrolment
• Schedule and organise school tours and school events that effectively promote and enhance the school’s brand and enrolment numbers
• Handle all parents’ feedback, complaints and be the main point of contact to liaise and co-ordinate internal meetings and follow up investigations
• Responsible for the school’s enrolment process and ensure prospective parents are clear on the requirements and procedures
• Develop an effective Standard Operating Process to track application documents and ensure an internal checklist process to all respective departments and personnel
• Handle the withdrawal process and refund of fees
• Prepare weekly / monthly reports on enrolment, demographic information, number of school visits from parents and events organised
• Act as the key liaison between the school and parents in all aspects including disseminating school newsletters, events and all administrative matters regarding enrolment.
(B) Promotions and Marketing
• Handle all media relations for the school and liaise with appropriate media channels with the objective of promoting the school
• Manage and oversee the contract terms with media partners and coordinate with finance and management for approval
• Develop advertisement content and all marketing collaterals
• Maintain the school’s website and ensure that latest news and media coverage are effectively and efficiently updated
•Plan and organise all open house events for prospective parents and co-ordinate the logistics and manpower internally to ensure the event is successful
• Develop an effective marketing campaign to enhance the EtonHouse China schools exposure to the community
• Co-ordinate with the Branding Team to update EtonHouse Shanghai news and events on social medial platforms
• Prepare quarterly and yearly marketing budgets to the management
• Develop marketing plans that includes all activities and events with enrolment targets
(C) Other Administrative and Logistics Matters
• Manage the bookings of school bus arrangement for prospective parents and develop an efficient bus routes system
• Work with relevant parties to design the pre-school menu and co-ordinate with the catering company for new menu
• Maintain and manage the feedback process with regards to school menus and bus services
• Maintain the uniform stocks and ensure sufficient placement of orders with other schools within EtonHouse China
• Oversee the extra-curricular activities including the brochure content to parents and enrolment of classes
• Co-ordinate with extra-curricular providers for renewals
• Follow up on enrolment of classes and payment
Job Requirements
• A Degree or post graduate diploma in marketing and communications with at least 4 years of related work experience in the development of marketing and branding materials
• Prior experience in Public Relations and Media would be desirable
• Exposure and experience in working with e-marketing / digital marketing, social media and other web marketing tools would be desirable.
• Ability to work in a team oriented work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in the Education services industry will be an added advantage
• Prefer candidates from Native English Speaking Countries
