Merchandiser Manager
at Ullapopken Trade&Business(Shanghai)Ltd. in Shanghai
Your job
- Active support of the Purchasing staff during the implementation of the collection in Shanghai
- Supervision of the whole collection process, from implementation of the worksheets to on-time delivery
- Close co-operation with the local Chinese Quality Assurance Team and suppliers
- Production monitoring and controlling
- Checks on compliance with specified guidelines and deadlines during the collection period
- Daily communication with Buying and Quality Assurance at our headquarters in Rastede
What you need
- A degree in Textile / Garment Engineering
- Extensive experience in the textile trade, preferably in the area of lady's wear
- Sound knowledge of material science and garment engineering
- Experience of production processes
- Excellent German and English language skills, ideally also in Mandarin, and outstanding intercultural expertise
- Confident use of current MS Office software
- Initiative, ability to work in a team and under pressure, and negotiating skills
- Creativity and a feeling of fashion
