RECEPTIONIST
at FRENCH DENTIST in Shanghai
We are an international dental clinic looking for a native english speaker Receptionist in Gubei area with exceptional human relations skills.
You must be be positive, organized, responsible, proficient with computers.
You will need to perform a variety of reception, secretarial, insurance, and data entry duties for patients and strives to provide patients a stress-free, warm and friendly environment.
DUTIES:
Answer telephones, schedule appointments, handle patient finance
Maintain patient records, and coordinate patient flow.
Greet patients on the telephone and in person
Hand off patient to the nurses/doctors in a caring manner
Respond to patient questions, concerns & complains about dental/ortho treatment in person and via email
Schedule and confirm patient appointments and recalls
Effectively & tactfully ask happy customers for patient referrals & testimonials
Maintain an on-time schedule with little or no cancellations
Set up new patient charts
Review charges with patient and collect payments
Input patient data and charges into computer
End of day / End of month balancing
Fill out insurance claims for patients
Follow through on overdue patient accounts
Assist in controlling inventory of front desk supplies (eg, business cards, brochures, consent forms, etc)
COMPETENCIES
Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and staff even under pressure
Ability to work with interruptions and to manage multiple priorities
Ability to follow up on tasks with little or no supervision needed
Ability to speak, understand, and write fluent English
Ability to write legibility and work with numbers
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work unsupervised
