Manufacturing Engineer
at Robo Wunderkind in Shenzhen
We are recruiting a talented Manufacturing Engineer to manage sourcing and manufacturing at Robo Wunderkind.
You will be part of our team in Shenzhen, China working with our R&D team based in Vienna.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Select, negotiate and work with our contract manufacturers
• BOM optimization
• Manage supply chain, logistics and lead times
• Work closely with partners and suppliers to validate the selected solutions.
• Manage and define all necessary tests to confirm that product fulfills specifications and legal market requirements.
• Debug industrial, electrical and mechanical design issues.
• Product quality management
• Coordinate and work with different teams (engineering, product, software, design, etc) to deliver a successful product to market in a timely fashion.
PROFILE
• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, and Operations engineering preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing, product development, supply chain and logistics
• Very good working knowledge of various production methods and 3D CAD tools
• Experience in contract manufacturing management
• Experience in negotiation with subcontractors and manufacturers
• Experience in consumer electronics and consumer devices
• Experience with norms, certifications, test engineering and quality control
• Strong analytical skills
• Relentlessly resourceful with extreme attention to detail
• Passionate about how things are made and how products are produced
COMPENSATION
$24K – $42K salary
0.5% – 1.5% stock option
