Client and Business Development Manager

We create safe and healthy environments for a wide range of commercial and residential clients including many multinationals, embassies, hospitals and in the education and hospitality sectors.
Position Description
We have an immediate opening for a Client & Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development professional, adept at creatively and aggressively building scalable, sustainable long-term business. The work involves lead development, proposal generation, deal closing, project execution and maintaining and developing existing clients. The position requires strong self-motivation and self-management skills, independence and the ability to work well with and manage teams, broad thinking yet strong attention to detail, and a positive and productive ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
Sales – 60%
• Execute aggressive prospecting strategy and follow leads to identify new customers
• Actively manage short and long-term opportunity pipelines into new customer revenue
• Negotiate and close business
• Plan, prioritize and execute personal sales activities to achieve business goals and metrics including: weekly sales targets, % new clients, % referrals, weekly call reports, gross profit and project margin
• Maintain and develop existing and new clients through appropriate sales initiatives
• Respond to RFPs on behalf of Innogenta
• Collect and analyze data to develop monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and interpret general economic and market trends and competitor activity
Client/Project Management – 40%
• Manage client accounts and projects as assigned as well as maintain and grow client relations
• Manage the deliverable and reporting for the assigned portfolios and projects
• Prepare and execute project plans, schedules and budgets for each assigned project
• Provide day-to-day leadership and support for projects
• Work with the Innogenta Directors to allocate resources for projects
• Oversee the administration, planning, operations and work assigned consultants and subcontractors, independent contractors and ensure defined deliverables are being met as well as reviewing and approving payment of vendor and subcontractor invoices
• Prepare, review and/or approve various reports, forms, correspondence, email, logs, budget documents and group goals and objectives
• Ensure quality and completeness of documentation
Education and Experience
• 2 year of industry related experience ideally with a minimum 1 year in sales
• Prefer BS in Environmental Science, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent with a strong understanding of the Environmental Services field
• Proven team player with experience establishing and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organization
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Native English speaker
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin preferred

• Competitive local monthly base salary of up to RMB 10,000 (pre-tax) depending on experience
• Performance bonus of up to 200% of base salary will be awarded based on projects completed
• Sales commission will be rewarded for new services or products business brought in from new sources
