Junior Business Development Manager

Our client, a major global moving and relocation organisation, now seeks to appoint a Junior Business Development Manager to be based in their office in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
Survey the clients and book their moves, prepare quotes after surveys and send to client in timely manner
Develop and convert leads
To achieve ”new business” target as agreed with management
To work with marketing team and in-home sales team to prepare offers for the moves or relocation services required by customer
Provide the clients with all professional advises concerning the different steps of the move : organisation, packing, transport, transit time, custom clearance, delivery , tracking, insurance
To follow up with client until file is either lost or booked, passing lost files to manager for review of causes
To pass booked files to customer service executives with complete documents including job instructions, signed acceptance
Invoice files in timely manner and ensure payment is collected in timely manner
Following the customer up to the final delivery and claim closing
Participate with the clients external marketing events
To open with the technical team a move : present the customer to the team, show the house, the moving items , the particularities required by the client
Make sure prepayments are done when necessary.
To hand in the correct survey sheets with all relevant information (volume, accesses, addresses, heavy items etc.) to operation assistant in order to make sure that the calculation done will correspond to the offer you have to give.
When move is booked prepare the administrative file to be given to operational assistant
To apply the quality procedures and process ISO, FIDI FAIM.
Requirements:
Plan and organise work in terms of priority
Work enthusiastically
Understand the client’s needs, formalise them and get them approved by the client and send them to other departments (export/import, planning)
Show the ability to evaluate and specify resources required to meet the requirements of clients, on time
Can carry out other tasks for a different post on the supervisor’s request
Always listen to the customers need and make sure the Branch manager and operation staff is aware.
To abide by all rules as designated in the company handbook
