Business Development Manager
at Alchemy Recruitment Ltd in Shanghai
Our client, a leading international moving organisation with a worldwide presence, now seeks to appoint a Business Development Manager to be based in their office in Shanghai.
The role’s primary objective is to improve the client's local market position in Shanghai and achieve financial growth- focusing predominately on new clients. The Business Development Manager will work alongside the Account Managers, whose role is to optimize existing business.
Responsibilities:
Identifying potential new clients and turning this into increased business in Shanghai, meeting targets for growth in new business.
Cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities, building rapport with potential clients, and adapting to a wide range of personalities- our client deliver services to a range of industries.
Leveraging existing mobility knowledge (including key contracts and population numbers), and networks to identify decision makers and meet potential new clients.
Developing sequential sales- utilising the Company’s existing relationships to maximise service delivery across business groups or multinational subsidiaries.
Planning approaches, presentations and pitches, using your Global Mobility and shipping knowledge to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Assessing the Company’s suitability for clients, and preparing tailored responses to RFI tenders, ensuring financial and operational effectiveness.
Analyzing clients’ service requirements, and presenting Company’s solution. Accurately leading implementation of new clients in to the business, introducing the Operation Team and ensuring that processes are clearly documented and communicated with your global team.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above.
Industry experience is preferred
Energetic, self-motivated, well presented and excellent at international relationships.
Good team player, energetic, hard worker and highly responsible.
Able to work flexible hour and independently with variety of tasks simultaneously.
Results oriented and a passion for getting more/new business
