Principal trainee 200k-360k per year Beijing

Full-time at WICOS in Beijing

(a) Essential Requirements and Experience

1) Academic qualification at post-graduate or equivalent level or relevant professional
qualifications

2) Normally a minimum of five years teaching experience and normally a minimum of
three years education management experience;

3) An understanding of Western and Chinese education system

4) An understanding of international postsecondary courses as well as the needs and
requirements of international students

(b) Essential Skills

1) Demonstrable cross-cultural awareness and understanding

2) Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop
staff

1.be responsible for lesson plan and course design and delivering lessons to a range of classes operated by centre.

2.Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of students’
progress and development;

3. Helping students in all areas of the curriculum;

4.Researching new topic areas and maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge;

5.Managing students’ behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior;

6. Participating in and organizing extracurricular activities;

7.Participating in departmental meetings, parents' meetings and whole school training events, and contacting parents for updating students’ academic performance

8. Make teaching proposal for different programs subject teaching to approve;

9. Responsible for subject teaching faculty allocation for different programs,for center principal to approve. Involve in new hire and training;

10. Approve selected teaching material by subject teacher, approve collected teaching material for all subject and manage it effectively;

11 Timely monitor the subject teaching quality to ensure teaching quality improvements;

12.Communicate and interact closely with relevant departments;

13. Assist to manage the introduction of new programs at delivery centers;

14. Support marketing and sales dept. and marketing activities and students
recruitment at local center;

14. Support center or HO with teaching assessment and program development.
