Danson Decor Inc. is headquartered in Montréal, Québec, Canada and is opening a new division in Shenzhen China. Danson Décor Inc has been in business for 75 years and is a market leader in the seasonal and home décor product industry. With facilities in both North America and China. We offer a complete line of products and accessories in home and seasonal décor.
Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the Merchandiser will assume the following tasks:
• Ensure our product production is delivered on schedule and up to our clients’ standards.
• Liaise with suppliers on product sourcing, price, terms & conditions negotiation.
• Prepare price quotations
• Follow-up in all merchandising related activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery (from product development to production)
• Monitor the calendar with product development team, to meet the key milestones.
• Source materials according to request and submit on time.
• Respond to both vendors & customers within 48 hours.
• Keep record well filed and monitor the information in the entire process (from development to shipment).
• Confirm orders with customers.
• Handle customers’ enquiries.
• Source material, accessories according to the input/direction given by buyers.
• Coordinate with Technician team to provide advice on design and samples to meet customers’ requirements.
• Coordinate with QA department for quality improvement such as inspection, inspection schedule etc.
• Keep track of sample submission for approval for both development & production in each stage, ensure to stick to the agreed calendar.
• Educate vendors to follow and respect Company’s rules and SOPs for order processing.
• Follow up with vendors, customers, internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in Merchandising
• Experience in our industry
• Strong communication and understanding in English and Mandarin
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
