Food and Beverage Lecturer

About the Role and what you can expect
Reporting to the Program Director and the Campus Director, you will be responsible for teaching food and beverage theory and practical classes to the school's front of house F&B students within our simulated bar and restaurant.
Alongside the team, you will also assist to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department, and to teach into other areas of expertise. The food and beverage lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of academic delivery, assessment, examination, student records and student progression. The role requires maintenance of industry currency and knowledge, to enhance the learning outcomes for our students.
Required Experience and Desired Skills
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years classroom teaching/training experience
• Minimum 3 years previous supervisory experience in F&B operations within a 4 star hotel/resort or higher
• Bachelor Degree qualification or a Masters Degree if you require a Visa
• Exemplary professional presentation and communication
• Enthusiastic attitude and passionate about the hospitality industry
• Flexibility with hours/days worked
• Excellent attention to detail, follow through and multitasking capability
• Ability to work within a team environment
• A positive customer service and student-centric approach
• Ability to effectively integrate to Chinese custom and culture, delivering global techniques
