SYSTEMS ENGINEER /RAMS ENGINEER – UK base with secondment to China

Activities
As part of our UK-based team and reporting to our Managing Director, you will be providing technical assistance to our main customers in China during a 2-year secondment, based out of Shanghai or Pekin. Extensive travel will be required at customers’ location.
The current contracts we are running allow for integrating either a System or a RAMS Engineer within our team, working on turboprop and turbojet work packages.
RAMS Work package: tasks and responsibilities *Apply RAMS engineering techniques (functional analysis, Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), FMEA, fault-tree analysis…) to define systems’ security objectives *Determine characteristics’ values (MTBF, availability, probability and occurrence of failure…) *Analyse system architecture to set security objectives for equipment *Define design and implementation- related modifications to reach and ensure compliance with security and availability objectives
Systems Engineering Work Package: tasks and responsibilities *Requirements and configuration management *Process insurance *System Engineering process development and deployment for the product *Ensure quality in line with applicable standards *Risk and non-conformity management
Skills and qualifications – Profile must be at least 5 years’ experience in one of the abovementioned fields, including significant experience with big aerospace manufacturers (Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier…). – Fluent English is mandatory for this role. – Engineering degree or equivalent is essential. – Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK as the contract will be UK-based.
