Manager – China Operations
at EGR in Guangzhou

The role will be based in SE China within our Asian International Sourcing Division. The role oversees new product projects from conception to production, including testing, material and process analysis, product engineering, design and specification, tooling design and customer specific quality documentation.
Within the successful applicant developing career you will possess or have developed the following skills:-
· Able to travel both domestically in China and Internationally
· Well developed Metal and Plastic Manufacturing Exposure
· Plan and schedule development workload
· Structure Asian supplier manufacturing process to achieve correct quality and repeatability
· Strong understanding of Australian Manufacturing Standards, QA, Best Practice and Process reporting
· The ability to liaise with all levels of people
· Ability to read and write Mandarin would be highly advantages
In addition, the role will require ongoing contact with our OEM customers. Like wise you will liaise with sub contractors and suppliers on key areas covering tooling, manufacturing and sub-component sourcing.
This is a hands on Engineering role and you will be required to communicate with and provide engineering expertise to customers, customer development managers, the CAD department, industrial designers, mould makers, metal workers and other trades people on the factory floor on a regular basis.
The successful applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design and possess a strong interest in the automotive industry. Ideally you will have over 5 years post-graduate experience.
