QA Manager
at Italian Luxury Packaging Company in Guangzhou
About the Company
A leading Italian luxury packaging company providing premium design & manufacturing for luxury brands packaging. Due to expansion they are hiring this strategic position to further drive their Product Quality, Vendor compliance and manufacturing standard. The position will be based in their office in Guangzhou, leading a team of 5 people including QA assistant, regulatory and testing
About the Role
As part of the QA Management Team responsible for driving the Quality goals in support of the overall business objectives .Coordinate support for operations in general troubleshooting and problem solving, providing technical direction and guidance to support overall business:
Identification of the current legislation (international, national and local) applicable in the field of environmental protection, social responsibility, FSC, Eutimber, Health and Safety at Work related to activities, buildings, machines, plants and company equipment
Archiving of applicable legislation
Dissemination to the involved structures of the obligations deriving from the application of the regulations
Continuous updating of applicable legislation
Identification of current legislation (international, national and local) in terms of product conformity
Responsible for organizing laboratory tests, organizing activities relating to EuTimber, organizing activities to set up production sites for customer visits or audits in general
About the Candidate
Bachelor's Degree holder with 6 years' + experience in a quality assurance, supplier qualification and Regulatory & Testing
Relevant industry experience in luxury, gift and premium, packaging, cosmetics, fashion or other similar industries
Good communication skills in English, ability to speak fluent Mandarin or any European language will be a definite advantage
