PRODUCTION MANAGER JOB SUMMARY:
Our shutter manufacturing company in ZhuHai is looking for a highly organized and pro-active production manager to run the factory. Our company needs someone to create effective policies and procedures to ensure our manufacturing department operates at peak efficiency. We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager who doesn’t mind putting in long hours and working with employees to constantly improve our output.
We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you. PRODUCTION MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning and organising production schedules
• Assessing project and resource requirements
• Overseeing production processes
• Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Oversee a workforce of 200+ employees in the shutter manufacturing department
• Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
• Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
• Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels
• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
• Organizing relevant training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Speak fluent English and Chinese
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations in China
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong decision making skills and result-driven approach
• Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
• Working knowledge of Chinese factory operations and Health and Safety regulations
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group
