Brand Manager Beer/Food
at Vandergeeten in Beijing
We are looking for a brand manager to work in China. In this position you will represent several imported food brands (chocolate, biscuits etc) for brand building, marketing and sales organization.
Responsibility:
- The mission of the brand manager is to develop the brand recognition towards Chinese consumers, to lead the sales teams (On Trade, Off Trade, E commerce, Business development…), to work with the brand owners for better communication in terms of production, purchasing, logistics, sales and brand development in China.
- Make the following plans :Sales plan, purchasing plan, POS plan, marketing/promotion plan
- Lead and communicate with sales teams in order to develop sales for the entire Chinese market
- Market visits in order to understand and know the market trends
- Communicate with the suppliers and receive the suppliers when they visit the company
- Coordinate with the different teams in the company
- Organize the food show with other relevant parties of the company
- Organize the events with event handlers for promoting the brand or selling the products
- Train sales teams and cooperate customers
This position is based in Beijing but requires traveling across China.
Requirements:
Autonomy
Excellent communication skills
Native Chinese level preferred and fluent English
Marketing and sales background is an asset
Strong interest in beer products
Open mind-set to different western and Chinese cultures.
Proficiency in PC software
